It’s the perfect time for a Ghost Tour
Just yesterday night I was walking through the historic district of Savannah. Aside from a little fog, the evening was perfect. I couldn’t help but think that this would be a perfect night for a family to head out into the darkness of haunted Savannah and take a ghost tour. Hell, even the fog added a layer of mystery which would had set the mood for a ghost tour perfectly.
The best reason to take a ghost tour this time of year is the weather. In the evenings the temperature will fall down into the 60s. Perfect weather for walking around the historic district trying to run into a ghost or two. Once the summer gets here the weather can be overwhelming at times, even at night. If you’re lucky you’ll get a nice layer of fog, just like I did last night. It helps enhance the spooky nature of a good ghost tour in Savannah.
If you take a ghost tour in the spring you will often find yourself part of a smaller group. The large groups and families that summer brings to Savannah are not here yet. In the spring our ghost tours usually consist of couples. Husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, etc etc. The crowds also tend to be a more mature audience. So, if you like your ghost tours without the side of screaming kid, you’re in luck if you take a ghost tour during this time of the year.
Regardless of when you find yourself in Savannah, a ghost tour is always a great way to spend an evening out in the historic district of Savannah. You’ll head to many of the haunted locations which have been made famous by hundreds, if not thousands of ghost sightings. A good ghost tour, like the ones you will find on this site will also be informative, telling you a lot about the history that has helped shape our haunted city.
